Reservations
Check-in begins at 4 pm. Check-out is at 11 am.
A resort fee of $50 plus 17.962% tax ($58.98 total) will be applied per night per room during your stay. The resort fee includes:
- Lei greeting upon arrival
- Welcome bottle of wine in your room (21+ only)
- Two bottles of water in your room upon arrival
- Unlimited high-speed wireless internet
- PressReader access with over 3,000 same-day newspapers and magazines on your personal devices
- In-room Nespresso® coffee and tea

- Daily oceanfront yoga classes
- Alo Moves on-demand fitness and wellness classes
- Weekly cultural activities, including lei-making and hula demonstrations
- Two pairs of take-home flip flops

- Guest Service Agents dedicated to securing preferred dining reservations, arranging ocean activities and making the most of your vacation
- Access to tickets to island activities through our guest service agents
- Access to hourly or weekly Tesla rentals
- Access to water sports activities via Hoku Water Sports rentals
- Access to resort-wide purified water stations

Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability. Please contact our Front Desk team to check availability.
Guests must be at least 21 years old to check in. A valid form of identification and credit card are required. Underage guests may stay in rooms with a registered adult on property; alcoholic beverages and vouchers will be removed from the room.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card at time of booking. Two nights of room and tax are charged at time of booking as a refundable deposit. Rates may require full advance deposit, see your confirmation letter for additional details.
Yes, we do accept debit cards. However, the funds will be immediately withdrawn from your account. Any refunds upon check out can take up to 7-10 business days.

Parking is available at $40/night plus tax per vehicle for overnight guests and complimentary parking for Red Salt diners for up to three hours.

Rooms
Yes. We have ADA accessible rooms available. Please contact us at (808) 742-4200 if you require an accessible room for your stay.
Yes. We do have connecting room options. Requests for connecting room cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability and room types.
Maximum occupancy varies by room and bed type. A standard-sized king-bedded room can accommodate up to 2 adults. A standard-sized room with two double beds can accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child.
Only certain room categories offer a bathtub. Majority of our guest rooms only offer a stand-alone (walk-in) rain shower. Please contact us at (808) 742-4200 if you require a bathtub for your stay.
Unfortunately, our rooms do not accommodate rollaway beds and we do not have any available on property.
Yes, we do have cribs upon request and based on availability at no additional cost.
The bedding in the rooms are hypoallergenic. We do have feathered pillows upon request.
We have Nespresso espresso machines in every guest room. Nespresso pods are replenished on request.
Cancellations
Standard reservations must be cancelled or modified 14 days prior to arrival at 12 PM HST to avoid forfeiture of deposit. Some rates, dates and room types may have varying policies; please see your confirmation letter for additional details.
For reservations made via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals, please contact your booking provider for information on their policies.

No, we do not allow outside food and beverages at the pool.

In partnership with Envoy, reserve a private Tesla during your stay. Simply register, book your vehicle, pick up and drop off at valet, and explore the island at your convenience.
For shuttle options, we recommend Robert's Hawaii Airport Transfers.

We are an oceanfront property with direct access to the beach.
Yes. In compliance with the Hawaii Non-Smoking Statute, the Ko’a Kea Hotel & Resort has been designated as non-smoking.
Yes, we are a pet-friendly hotel. A one-time pet fee of $300 for one dog or $400 for two dogs will be charged upon check-in. Additional fees may apply for any room damage and/or flea infestation. The pet fee is waived for service animals, but still subject to any room damage and/or flea infestation fees.
Dog walking or pet sitting services are not included. Please call our concierge at (808) 742-4200 for local options.
Please note that state law requires certain vaccinations, pre-arrival paperwork and/or a quarantine period for pets entering the island. Visit Kauai Humane Society for more information.
