Privacy
We respect your privacy and will not share, rent, sell, or otherwise use any personal information you have given us to any third party without your permission, except when required by law, subpoena or other legal process or in order to protect the safety of the public. Any information you give us is held with the utmost care and security, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented. Since this policy may change over time as we modify or expand our services, we suggest that you check from time to time in order to understand how we treat your personal information. Your use of this website and its services constitute your agreement to the terms of our privacy policy. If we decide to change those policies, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what personal information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it. Your continued use of this website and its services constitute your agreement to any such changes. We will not collect any personal information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. We will use this information in order to customize and enhance the services we offer to our customers. Examples of such information are: name, age, gender, business, home or postal address, e-mail address, phone numbers, and travel preferences. We may share non-personal aggregate, or summary, information regarding customers with partners or other third parties, but we do not sell or share any information at the individual customer level. 



Cancellation Policies
For arrivals starting January 4 through December 19, reservations must be cancelled by 3pm - 72 hours prior to arrival unless otherwise specified when booking. Refund of deposit if cancellation received by 3pm - 72 hours prior to arrival, otherwise a one night's deposit penalty applies.

For arrivals starting December 20 through January 3rd, a 2 night deposit is due at the time of booking and full prepayment is due 30 days prior to arrival.  Cancellation is by 30 days prior to arrival for a full refund of deposit.  Deposit is non refundable within 30 days of arrival.

No shows are subject to forfeiture of entire deposits.

Other peak periods and holidays may have additional cancellation restrictions, which are stated during the booking process.

Deposits & Guarantees
There is a deposit requirement of two night's room & tax due at the time of booking. A credit card deposit may be given at the time of booking to guarantee the room. Special event periods and holidays may require a special deposit depending on the time of booking and will be stated during the booking process. For arrivals starting December 20 through January 3rd, Full prepayments are due 30 days prior to the arrival date.

A valid credit card is required at check-in. In addition to room and tax an additional $150 USD per night will be held on your credit card to guarantee any incidental charges at check in.

An early departure fee of $75.00 will be charged should your departure date reservations change once you have checked in.



Check-In/Check-Out
Check-In time is 3pm. Checkout time is 12 noon. Early Check-In is by request only and not guaranteed. Late Checkout must be coordinated with the hotel if it is available. The hotel does have a departure lounge for guests to use to freshen up before their flights. Guests must registered with a valid credit card and be at least 18 years old to check in.

Pets
Due to our location, we have a limited amount of pet friendly rooms.  Therefore, it is imperative that arrangements are made directly with the Resort's Director of Rooms.  Email us at Info@KoaKea.com.  We welcome dogs under 25 lbs. however, due to Department of Health regulations we will limit their access to certain areas of the resort.

Resort fees for pets are $100 + tax per day and includes food & water bowl, toys and treats.

Hawaii is rabies-free and State law states that pets are required to complete a 120-day confinement in the State Animal Quarantine Station.  However, there is a checklist available on the Hawaii Agricultural website that may reduce the quarantine to 5 days or less.  Visit hawaii.gov/hdoa/ai/aqs/info for details.

Luggage Storage
Luggage storage is available at no charge. No overnight storage allowed.

Gift Certificates & Prepaid Bookings
Gift Certificates are available through the hotel and may be purchased on-line. Prepaid bookings require a Credit Card Authorization Form to be completed and faxed to the hotel. This form is available by calling the hotel directly.
